Powering NRF’s Physical Event Network

BIG Digital partnered with NRF for the second year to help power the physical event experience at NRF 2026; bringing real-time content, touch-based wayfinding, and attendee engagement into the show environment.

At NRF, the world’s largest retail events come to life not just through ideas, but through experiences.

As the National Retail Federation continues to evolve how attendees engage with its events, now in its second year supporting NRF at its flagship event, BIG Digital is proud to partner with the organization, supporting its events through interactive kiosk technology that powers key elements of the physical event network.

Bringing the Conference Experience Into the Physical World

At NRF 2026, BIG Digital deployed its portable interactive kiosks across the show floor to support a seamless, intuitive attendee experience, extending conference functionality beyond mobile devices and into the physical environment.

Through real-time content delivery and direct integrations with NRF’s event platform, attendees were able to access schedules, messaging, and event information exactly where they needed it: on the show floor, in motion, and at scale. By integrating NRF’s APIs into BIG Digital’s kiosk network, content remained dynamic, accurate, and continuously updated throughout the event, reducing friction for attendees while improving visibility for sponsors and partners. That same real-time messaging extended outdoors via BIG Digital’s eye-level portable digital billboards, delivering timely updates, including shuttle schedules, at key attendee entry points.

Collaborative Wayfinding with Pointr

A key highlight of NRF 2026 was BIG Digital’s collaboration with Pointr, NRF’s wayfinding partner.

By integrating Pointr’s interactive event map directly into BIG Digital’s kiosks, attendees could navigate the venue through a touch-based, physical wayfinding experience, helping them move through the Javits Center with greater ease and confidence.

This collaboration reinforced a shared vision: wayfinding should be intuitive, accessible, and embedded into the environment and not limited to mobile screens alone.
